Various dates each month Family History Society of Arizona has 7 chapters in the Phoenix Metro area.  Each chapter meets monthly and includes a free novice class before each meeting. 2nd Saturday of each month Sun Country TMG (The Master Genealogist) Users Group (SCTMG) are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM until noon at the West Valley Genealogy Society Library, 1222 North 111th Avenue, Youngtown, AZ 85363. The meetings are geared to all levels of users and guests are welcome.
2nd Saturday of each month, September through May Due to scheduling conflicts with Mohave Community College, Tri-State Genealogical Society is currently meeting at the Laughlin Library, 2840 Needles Hwy., Laughlin, NV 89028. We are an Arizona organization with members who live in Mohave County, Arizona; Clark County, Nevada and San Bernardino County, California.

July 17 Arizona State Genealogical Society is sponsoring a Monsoon Madness seminar featuring a “Day of Military Records”. Aug 5-7 Midwestern Roots Family History and Genealogy Conference sponsored by the Indiana Historical Society will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Oct 23 Northern Arizona Genealogical Society / Family History Center’s Annual Genealogy Workshop will be held at the LDS Church, 2201 Ruth Street, Prescott. Four sessions of one hour each with a choice of seven classes each hour will be presented from 9AM to 3PM. Lunch will be homemade beef stew and bread. Nov 8-21 The 7th annual Legacy Genealogy Cruise starts and ends in Sydney, Australia and visits the following New Zealand ports: Fjordland National Park, Dunedin (Port Chalmers), Christchurch (Lyttelton), Wellington, Napier, Tauranga, Auckland, and Bay of Islands. June 12-17 The Samford Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research (IGHR) will be held at Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama. This Institute provides an educational forum for the discovery, critical evaluation, and use of genealogical sources and methodology through a week of intensive study led by nationally prominent genealogical educators.
